Thirteen Years With HER

Mother's Day will always be a potpourri of feelings for me. Overflowing with joy and humbly blessed with Owen and Letha Kate; whom call me mama. Along with the sorrow of physically not having my mom on this earth to walk life with. This year I wrote a poem about my mom and how influential her presence on this year for thirteen years was for me.

When we view a color or walk into a room with a specific design around a color how does it make us feel? The awareness of color’s disposition or the mood it conveys is powerful. I believe designers and therapist understand this concept more than anyone else. I strive during all my private photography sessions to dig into how you feel when you interact around your family. To orchestrate your authentic feelings for each other during our photo session so I can capture those fleeting moments with my camera. My artist eye is chasing after your feeling in the family images because I desperately want you to feel and remember the feelings you experienced during that specific season of your life when you see your images. Furthermore, if we understand the spirit a color extends and connected the color with your family’s vibe then it will guide us on selecting the colors, patterns, and textures, so you can be the best interpretation of YOU! Let’s break down the rainbow colors and the mood that it typical conveys along with other colors that complement each other.
